This is not good news.

This isn’t good for the consumer, either.

I could care less about another Grand Theft Auto sequel. You saw the quotes in the article. This is going to make a large segment of the industry complacent. You’re going to see crappy sequels, or you’re not going to see the game you like at all anymore.

It’s in the investor’s hands now. Keep your fingers crossed.

I Was Happy To Hear This Today.

I know who I am voting for.

Microsoft-er?

I wonder if Microsoft even cares about any more potential repercussions  from tangling with the European Community business authority.  Come on already, MS. Don’t be in denial about this. They didn’t back down during the last round of litigation. Why would they now?

Then we have this announcement. Now I’m confused.

They don’t want to provide any information to smaller companies on a continent that could fit inside of Alaska, you know, because I am sure they are cutting deep and wide into Microsoft’s market share. Then they unveil the man behind the curtain to let everybody get a peek at how Oz operates.

This sounds like fun.

Lebowski Fest!

Well, if you’re so damn smart…

The “Big Bang Theory” states that the universe started from an extremely dense and hot state. So, where did this mass come from?

You don’t learn something new. You learn something new to you. I want to learn something no one else knows.

Why do many people have a negative stereotype of lawyers? We portray them as ambulance-chasers and make them the butt of derogatory jokes, yet we elect them to govern over us on a regular basis. Then we complain about how bad of a job they do.

WTF?

What’s wrong with people? Or is it just me? How long are you going to fight over a small, shitty piece of land? How can you preach hate, kill, abuse, and exploit women in the name of a religion? How many innocent people will suffer and perish at the hands of those who only seek wealth through the guise of government? How long will we cause trouble abroad when we already have more than we can handle at home? What happened to common courtesy? Where did common sense go? How long is the rest of the world going to ignore the African and South American continents, China, southeastern Asia, and the inner city slums across the globe that make up the bowels of the third stone from the sun?

Sorry I haven’t been updating the site so often, folks. Timtron hasn’t been in the best mood lately, give or take about two years.

I hate my current job. I drove to work today in a layer of ice and sleet and had to make a detour because a St. Louis County plow truck got stuck. Hell, some lady was in a ditch in my neighborhood. Why do I do it? Because I need the job right now. I can’t not have the income. If I tried to call in today, I would have been told to call a cab. I was the last one to leave. I haven’t had the day after Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve off since I started working at this place, eight years ago. I answer two separate phones averaging at least 100 incoming calls per day. I dispatch whatever service calls come in. I take care of 111 separate facilities, 102 grocery stores and 9 gas stations, in seven different states. I dispatch 14 in-house repairman. Payroll, parts orders, and uniform orders included. I take care of their vehicle maintenance, including licensing.  I maintain a schedule of numerous inspections that are required by national and local ordinances at each facility. I am 27 years old and have to have my parents co-sign on the financing for a car because I don’t make enough money each month to sign the papers myself. Yeah, I live with my parents, too. I have to get one of three sickly old ladies to try and cover for me if I get sick. I was told I get 75% tuition reimbursement until I found out two years late that’s only up to $5,000 a year. The human resources department loses my resume every time I submit one for an open position within the company. Then no one tells me I didn’t get the job. I find out because I am introduced to the person they hired to fill the position I applied for. I ask one person in human resources who is supposed to notify those that applied they didn’t get the job and they tell me they don’t have to notify you. I ask another person in the human resources department and they tell me either the person doing the hiring or some one from the human resources department is supposed to notify you.

I was able to land a side-job writing web site content at this awesome new media company. The guy that owns the place is one of the coolest people you have ever met. I have always wanted a job involving a computer’s functionality and/or program and website design. This is what I want to do with my life. I want to work full time at this place helping people convey a message to their target audience via the medium of the world wide web. This is something I would be happy to get out of bed in the morning to go do. I would take pride in handing out my first business card after meeting people to help them accomplish all that they wish to with their website’s content. That job would remove so much stress from my life. A childhood friend and a lot of other cool cats work at this place. I think the only job that would beat this one would be running a candy factory whose labor force consisted solely of beautiful women.

If I leave my current job within 5 years after I graduate. I have to pay back that tuition reimbursement. I would use my “profit sharing” money to pay off some, but I’m really not too concerned with having to pay that money back, because I will be too happy.

But right now, I contemplate driving my car into and off of things at high speeds on my way home from work.
